The Fellowship programme will provide UK-based researchers with up to £3000 for travel - and more - in exchange for their expertise and advice. The launch event will kick off with talks from the programme leaders to introduce the Fellows programme, its benefits and the selection process. There will also be the opportunity to hear from past Fellows, who will talk about their experiences.

The Fellowship funding will support activities that are beneficial to both the Fellows and the Institute: funding travel to conferences, setting up and running workshops, organising software sustainability BoFs at domain conferences, or hosting a Software Carpentry bootcamp.

Recruitment will take place during August and September, with the deadline for applications in mid-September. To find out more about the programme, visit the Fellows page (http://bit.ly/ssi-fellows) on the Software Sustainability Institute's website.
